I don’t often write about gardening ‘stuff’, but I was so delighted with a recent gift, that I had to share. Having broken a few cups and mugs on my gardening travels, these enamel coated tin mugs are just the ticket to pop into a basket with a flask of hot coffee. And you do need plenty of hot drinks at this time of year! I’m a big fan of Rob Ryan‘s paper cuts, so mug and design combined will make drinking my coffee an even more pleasurable experience on a cold wet winter’s day.

Gorgeous!
They’re great!
I’ve got a couple of t-shirts from howies that are very much in that style. Wonder if its the same designer?
Just when I thought I was able to resist temptation … ! What beautiful mugs! As an illustrator myself, I love the detail and work that goes into Rob Ryan’s work and may very well have to treat myself to this highly practical and essential piece of gardening kit. ; )
They look fab! A friend of mine bought us the Rob Ryan ‘four seasons’ plates as a moving into new house gift. I had never heard of him until then, but his work is really nice.
Hi Nicolette-Yes,gorgeous and as Caro said, essential gardening tools!
Jono, not sure if it Rob Ryan designs for howies, but like their stuff too.
Alison, just looked at all the digging you have to do on your blog. Jealous of all your space! Good luck with all that hard graft. Naomi
I love Rob Ryan’s work. They’ve got a good selection of his stuff in the shop at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. I do like enamel ware will have to keep a look out for those mugs.
