Another great, borrowed idea. Having eaten your takeaway with this classy wooden cutlery, it can then be recycled as a groovy plant label.
There’s plenty of room to write on and they just look fab and rather appropriate when used as labels for edible plants.
Love this idea. Only wish wooden cutlery were more prevalent than plastic.
Nice idea!
I cut up margarine tubs, and use them. Practical, but not nearly as nice as this cutlery.
Brilliant idea! and as you say, really apt.
Nicolette, Dichotomyof and Jono- Thanks for comments. Jono-margarine tubs sounds like a great idea as my cutlery is fast running out. Just got back from Mull where we visited the wonderful Lip na Cloiche garden (soon yo be blogged about). As her garden rests right on the shore line, she uses razor shells for her labels. Brilliant recycling , stylish and very practical too. V.best Naomi
I’ve only used plastic cutlery because that was what I had. You are right, the wooden ones do look fab.
Genius, I’ll be on the look out for these now.
These make fantastic labels. Can I pinch the idea for the herbs at our next plant sale? Having said that I’ve only ever seen the plastic.
Please do. Mostly seen the wooden cutlery in posh coffee shops. V.best Naomi
